To our community:
We are thrilled to announce that our main site, 2 Surrey Place, will reopen on August 10 for limited, one-to-one services by appointment only.
As part of our gradual increase of in-centre visits, we are prioritizing our client appointments based on various factors into four stages:
- Priority 1: Urgent Health and Safety Focus
- Priority 2: Critical Need Unmet by Telehealth Services
- Priority 3: Assessment and Intervention for Active Clients
- Priority 4: Waitlist and Group Services
As we work through these stages, our clinicians will contact their clients to schedule an appointment.
While we will do our best to accommodate as many clients and families as possible, operations will be a bit different. Our hours will be modified, and we will be implementing new safety measures that follow public health authorities’ guidelines and include screening all visitors, using appropriate personal protection equipment, signage to encourage physical distancing, and increased sanitization.
We’re looking forward to reopening our other sites once these new measures have been proven successful in keeping everyone safe at 2 Surrey Place.
In the meantime, we will continue to offer our high-quality services through Telehealth to limit in-person visits to those most in need.
Stay safe, and be well,
Dr. Terri Hewitt, C. Psych.
