Transitions and new environments can be tough to deal with for children with autism spectrum disorder, causing behavioural challenges and other struggles. “About My School” is a child-friendly book specifically designed for children with autism. Together with caregivers or parents, children can explore the new transitions they will experience at their own pace. The book can help children prepare for new activities in school settings, such as communicating with teachers, lining up and raising their hand. “About My School” aims to help make school familiar and make the transition process for children with autism spectrum disorder as smooth as possible.
