Caring for the Caregiver through Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT)

How can Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) improve the health and well-being of families and caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? 

Surrey Place’s principal investigators Kelly Bryce and Johanna Lake conducted several workshops that employed a mixed-methods design to assess the impact of a mother-led ACT group intervention on the health and well-being of mothers of children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
