How to be a Good Friend to Someone with Autism

As children grow, they learn about how to welcome and support other children with different life experiences and abilities, including children with autism spectrum disorder. However, it can be challenging to know which resources you should use and how to begin those discussions with your child. Our kid-friendly resource is a free, downloadable PDF that provides easy-to-read tips and guidance about how children can be good friends to their friends with autism spectrum disorder. It also gives children the opportunity to practice being more supportive and understanding in a group or classroom social setting.
